Precision Environmental in Los Angeles County is seeking an Asbestos Abatement Technician to join our team. You will work on projects involving asbestos, mold, lead, and other hazardous waste removals, following EPA/OSHA guidelines and company safety policies.

The role requires at least 1 year as a lead technician in construction or restoration, familiarity with safety practices, and the ability to pass respiratory fit exams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a lead technician in construction or restoration/mitigation field.
• Familiarity with safety guidelines and ability to apply them daily.
• Knowledge of company policies, SOPs, and adherence to guidelines.
• Competency in hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in the job.
• Continuous growth mindset with open-mindedness for learning and sharing knowledge.
• Good grasp of English language (reading, writing, verbal).
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency preferred.
• Ability to pass Respirator Physical and obtain respiratory fit exam.
• Ability to interpret basic instructions and Material Data Sheets.
• Industry certifications preferred, with willingness to undergo required medical exams.
• Physical abilities include repetitive hand motion, lifting heavy objects, working in confined spaces, and extended hours.

Now Hiring Asbestos Abatement Technician in Los Angeles County.

Our Asbestos Abatement Technician are responsible for working with asbestos, mold, lead, and/or other hazardous waste removals while adhering to company policies and procedures regarding remediation. The individual will also adhere to EPA, OSHA, and local requirements regarding safety, hazardous materials handling, etc. The individual will participate in occasional industry training, update certifications, and maintain fitness levels as required for the Environmental industry. Other qualifications and responsibilities might arise as deemed necessary by circumstances. This position reports directly to the Project Director and interfaces with other departments within the company as required.
