Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an experienced Field Project Manager I (Hazmat/ Environmental Abatement) to lead regional projects with a strong emphasis on safety and quality. You will organize and complete projects, and also contribute critical inputs during bidding and quotes.

Travel 50-80% and on-call duties are expected, with an hourly range of $80K-$90K annually. New hires attend a two-week academy; travel expenses and per diem are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with progressively responsible management experience.
• Knowledge of asbestos regulations (AHERA, NESHAP, OSHA 1926.1101).
• Ability to interpret survey reports, work plans and abatement specs.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite and able to work independently under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage asbestos abatement and remediation projects in compliance with regulations.
• Oversee contract management, quality control, safety and resource management.
• Coordinate field operations, monitoring, decontamination and final clearance testing.
• Support market efforts by contributing to bidding and client engagement.
• Manage project cost reporting and procurement within budget limits.
