Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr

Role Overview: Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Manager

As an HSE Manager at Expedient Staffing Solutions, Inc, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment across all project sites. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring HSE policies and procedures, conducting regular inspections, and providing training to employees and subcontractors. Your leadership in health, safety, and environmental practices will contribute to the overall success and sustainability of our projects.

Typical Duties include but are not limited to:

• Regularly inspect company project sites to identify and assess potential safety, health, and environmental risks.
• Create, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures, ensuring they are comprehensive and up-to-date. Establish a routine inspection schedule to monitor compliance.
• Design and enforce HSE procedures specific to construction operations, ensuring that all activities are conducted safely and in accordance with regulations.

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a related HSE role, preferably within the construction or infrastructure sectors.
• Extensive understanding of HSE regulations, policies, and industry protocols, with the ability to apply this knowledge practically on job sites.

Physical Requirements:

• Physically able to conduct field inspections and carry related construction materials and equipment used for jobsite surveys and inspections.
• Periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer – administrative duties.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to pass a drug test.
• Legally eligible to work in the US.
• Open to working different shifts if needed by the project.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the jobsite every workday (driver's license preferred).
• Must provide own hand tools (excluding power tools).
• Willing to travel for project requirements, including overnight stays, to support various projects.
