Safety leadership in a manufacturing environment with the opportunity to make a real operational impact.
I'm recruiting for an established industrial business looking for an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead safety and environmental compliance across a structural steel fabrication operation.
This isn't a role where you'll spend all day behind a desk updating policies. You'll be on the shop floor, working directly with employees and management to strengthen safety standards, reduce risk and build a culture where safe working practices are part of everyday operations.
You'll be working within a structural steel fabrication facility, where equipment operation, material handling, fabrication processes and employee safety are central to daily operations.
You'll have the opportunity to influence safety performance across the plant, improve existing programmes and work closely with operational leadership to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
You'll take ownership of the site's EHS programmes, including:
A key part of the position will be building a proactive safety culture, ensuring employees have the training, resources and support needed to work safely.
I'm particularly interested in speaking with professionals who have:
A degree in Occupational Safety, Safety Management or a related discipline is preferred, although equivalent experience and training will be considered.
ASP or CSP certification, OSHA 500 training and OSHA 30-hour certification are advantageous.
Relocation support is available for the right candidate.
