Job description

We're Hiring: Safety Environmental Manager / EHS Engineer

Location: Lexington, KY 40511

Duration: 7+ Months (Potential Temp-to-Hire)

Schedule: 1st Shift, Mon–Fri, 8 AM – 5 PM

What You’ll Do:
  1. Implement and support EHS policies and programs.
  2. Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and training sessions.
  3. Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses.
  4. Ensure compliance with air, water, and land permitting requirements.
  5. Serve as the site liaison for government EHS inquiries.
  6. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure ongoing safety and compliance.
What You Bring:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  2. 1–2+ years of experience in EHS or a similar safety role.
  3. Working knowledge of ISO regulations and hazard mitigation.
  4. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  5. Ability to lead projects and stay ahead of regulatory changes.
