Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Manager to oversee EH&S programs across projects and facilities. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, promote a safety-first culture, and reduce incidents.

You will lead training sessions, manage risk assessments, and support sustainability initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Travel to sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health and Safety or equivalent.
• OSHA 500, CHST, ASP/GSP certifications required.
• CSP designation preferred.
• Bi-lingual preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental laws.
• Strong safety protocols, risk assessments, and emergency planning.
• Proficient in EH&S management software.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead safety teams and conduct trainings.
• Knowledge of sustainability and waste management.
• Willingness to work extended hours and respond to emergencies.
• Willingness to travel.

Job description

This role requires oversight of environmental, health, and safety programs within an organization or construction project. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations, promotes a culture of safety, and minimizes environmental impact. The EH&S Manager is also tasked with reducing workplace accidents, enhancing employee health and safety, and ensuring environmental sustainability practices are followed. The following experience and skill set are preferred:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Safety and Health Management, Safety Management, or equivalent.
• Certifications in Environmental, Health, and Safety to include (e.g., OSHA 500, CHST, ASP/GSP Designation) is required.
• CSP designation - preferred
• Bilingual - preferred
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental laws, and health and safety standards.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols, risk assessments, and emergency response planning.
• Proficiency in EH&S management software and tools.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead safety teams, conduct training sessions, and influence organizational culture.
• Strong knowledge of environmental sustainability practices and waste management.
