Job summary

Regnology Poland P.S.A is seeking an experienced Development Platform Operations Engineer to join the Environment Management & FinOps (EMF) team. You will operate and improve shared development, test, and pre-production environments used by R&D teams globally, focusing on automation-first, AI-assisted capabilities.

The role emphasizes Start-of-Day readiness, Path-to-Live alignment, and developer productivity, with close collaboration across R&D, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure, and Finance.

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering or Cloud Operations.
• Experience with Kubernetes and at least one major cloud platform; GCP preferred, Azure/AWS also relevant.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation, preferably Terraform plus Python/Bash/PowerShell.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK/OpenSearch).
• Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD and development tooling (GitLab, Jenkins) and GitOps/ArgoCD.
• Understanding FinOps or cloud cost optimization and capacity management or an interest to develop these skills.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Keep shared development, test and pre-production environments healthy and ready for engineering teams.
• Monitor environment health, troubleshoot incidents and coordinate root-cause resolution.
• Support provisioning, configuration, access, maintenance and decommissioning of environments.
• Contribute to Start-of-Day readiness and handovers in a follow-the-sun model.
• Identify and close Path-to-Live gaps to keep environments aligned with production.
• Automate repetitive work using IaC, GitOps, scripting and self-service runbooks.
• Contribute to FinOps through cost optimization and measurable savings.
• Develop and improve EMF’s Command Center and FinOps Platform.
• Maintain documentation, KPIs and cross-functional communications.
