Job summary

Insomniac Games is seeking an Environment Art Intern to help model, texture, and place assets for immersive game environments in the United States. You will collaborate with seasoned artists to create natural and architectural props and learn production workflows within a game studio.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college or university studying a related Arts field.
• Creative, self-motivated, and responsible learner.
• Passion for video games and art with an interest in environment modeling.
• Willingness to learn new tools and collaborate with experienced artists.
• Python skills and Maya experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Model natural and architectural geometry for props and environments.
• Create UV layouts, normal maps, textures, and materials.
• Contribute to modeling, texturing, surfacing, and placing assets.
• Learn and apply new artistic techniques under the Art Director.
• Collaborate with the Environment art team to develop assets and workflows.
