Insomniac Games’ Art Department invites you to join as an Environment Art Intern in Burbank. You’ll model, texture, surface, and place assets to build immersive game worlds, collaborating with experienced artists and learning how environment art supports the visual design of a game.

Open to undergraduate students currently enrolled, expected graduation May 2026–December 2029. The 12‑week internship runs May 17–Aug 6 or Jun 14–Sep 3.

Qualifications

• Model natural and architectural geometry from concept art and references.
• Create UV layouts, generate normal maps, and develop textures and materials for environment objects.
• Contribute to modeling, texturing, surfacing, and placing assets to build game worlds.
• Learn and apply new artistic techniques under the direction of the Art Director.
