Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Exercise Physiology, Environmental Physiology, Human Bioenergetics, or related field.
• Experience coordinating human subjects research and studies.
• Proficiency in environmental physiology data collection.
• Experience with phlebotomy and basic clinical lab skills.
• Experience with VO₂ max and pulmonary function testing.
• Experience organizing and submitting IRB regulatory documents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform data collection, phlebotomy, and basic clinical lab tasks.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and workspace.
• Assist data cleaning, processing, and initial analysis in Excel.
• Prepare and submit IRB regulatory documents and supporting packages.
• Create tables and figures for reports and manuscripts.
• Conduct exercise and metabolic measurements (VO2 max, resting ventilation).
• Collaborate with USARIEM investigators and staff.
