Job summary

MGA Research Corporation, a diversified engineering services company, seeks an Entry Level Environmental & Lifecycle Test Technician in Burlington, WI. This role supports test cycles, operates environmental chambers, and collaborates with engineers and customers to ensure accurate results.

The position emphasizes safety, hands-on learning, and career growth within a team-driven Main Lab environment. Training is provided in testing procedures and equipment handling.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for 8 hours.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Experience with general computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
• Keen attention to detail, coupled with a strong ability to identify errors.
• Ability to independently start tasks.

Responsibilities

• Review and execute daily tasks independently.
• Monitor machines such as environmental chambers and vibration tables.
• Identify and resolve problems occurring throughout testing cycles.
• Support end-to-end test execution including setup, operational troubleshooting, and post-test teardown, in collaboration with engineers and customers.
• Conduct maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, commercial refrigeration units, and general machinery.
• Communicate with internal teams and global customers to align testing requirements.
