Pape’ Kenworth is seeking an Entry Truck Technician to join our team in Bakersfield. You will perform basic repairs and preventive maintenance on medium and heavy‑duty trucks, with on‑the‑job training and mentorship from senior technicians.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

As our Entry Truck Technician / Mechanic, you will perform basic repairs and maintenance on medium and heavy-duty class 7 & 8 trucks including troubleshooting, diagnosing problems, and making the necessary repairs in a timely and efficient manner. All your hard work is geared toward supporting our customers, maximizing their uptime, and building your skills and experience as a Technician.

If you are a recent graduate or an individual eager to begin a career in the diesel and heavy truck industry, this role is for you! You’ll receive comprehensive dealer-supported education and training while working side by side with experienced, senior-level technicians. Through hands‑on experience, you’ll develop practical skills in maintenance, inspection, and repair of heavy‑duty trucks and related equipment, building a strong foundation for long‑term growth in the trade.

This team member will work Mon - Friday 3:30pm - midnight.

WHAT YOU NEED:

Compensation: $25.25-29.80/hr (Depending on Experience)
