Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Entry Screening in Fall River, MA. You will screen visitors and personnel, monitor access points, and report security concerns while delivering friendly customer service in a technology, media and telecom setting.

The role follows a night schedule with multiple shifts; a background check and CPR preference apply, and a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, deliveries, and personal property in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures and applicable screening protocols.
• Operate screening equipment and inspect authorized items as directed, reporting prohibited items, access concerns, and unusual activity to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and communication procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entry points, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
