CDM Smith is seeking an Entry Project Controls Specialist to join our Project Controls Team in a hybrid work setting. The role involves supporting budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and reporting activities across projects of basic complexity.

Ideal candidates will understand Earned Value Management, cost control, and scheduling fundamentals. This position offers opportunities to collaborate with project managers and teams to ensure on‑time, on‑budget project delivery.

Qualificações

• U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal contract requirements.
• Entry level knowledge of project management methodology including budget development, project planning, control and assurance methodologies, and finance and accounting concepts and practices.

Responsabilidades

• Supports compliance with internal procedures and gathers project progress information to update and monitor project of basic complexity.
• Develops time‑phased project cost and resource forecasts; validates project costs; updates requirements as required.
• Produces earned value reports and discusses observations with project manager.
• Uses document management protocols to store and retrieve project documentation.
