ICONMA is seeking an ENTRY Phlebotomist I for our Weston, FL client to warmly greet patients at check-in, assist with lobby duties, and support phlebotomy operations with professionalism.

The role requires phlebotomy experience, 1–2 years of customer-facing service, and strong data-entry skills. You will work in a lobby setting, potentially covering breaks, while maintaining confidentiality and accurate patient records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy experience required, even if internship/externship.
• Minimum 1–2 years of client-facing customer service experience.
• Phlebotomy duties and data entry responsibilities must be performed.
• Ability to assist with lobby check-ins via kiosk or handheld tablet.

Responsibilities

Job description

Our client, a Medical Research company, is looking for a ENTRY Phlebotomist I for their Weston, FL location.

Responsibilities:

• The ENTRY PSR I/Lobby Experience Coordinator (LEC) helps with patient care by greeting them upon arrival and answering any questions or concerns with care and compassion.
• The individual will also help maintain the integrity of the waiting area and assist with breaks when other Phlebotomists are unavailable.
• This individual will also utilize Phlebotomy skills to grown within the company.
• The ENTRY PSR I has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining what to expect to patients regarding the scheduled procedure for the patients in a safe and accurate manner.
• The ENTRY PSR I will demonstrate excellence in customer care while focusing on process skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy of patient information. The impact of this individual will be crucial to maintaining the integrity of the lobby and ensuring that all patients are provided with the level of service that is expected.
• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Maintains required records and documentation.
• Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general along with a willingness to learn new skills.
• This is primarily a Lobby Greeter position to help patients check in at the kiosk and to help them feel more comfortable while waiting to be called back for their labs to be run - Will fill in for breaks and cover for staffing shortages

Requirements:

• Ability to handle patients with care and compassion while assisting with check ins in the lobby through either a self-service kiosk or handheld tablet
• Be willing to work both in the lobby and in a draw room with patients to help with breaks that need to be covered
• To perform with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• High level of customer service experience/skills are required - this is critical to the heart of the role
• High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED - no exceptions
• Phlebotomy experience is required, even if just an intern/externship to learn the basics
• Minimum of 1-2 years of client facing customer service REQUIRED (Retail, Home Health Aide, etc).
• Some Phlebotomy experience is REQUIRED
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
