South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice seeks an entry-level specialist to provide case management coordination for youth referred to DJJ. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, monitoring, advocacy, and direct supervision across diversion, intake, probation, or parole pathways.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social science or equivalent.
• Knowledge of federal/state laws and regulations for juvenile offenders.
• Ability to organize and maintain a case load.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary case manager for youth referred to DJJ.
• Interview youth and family to assess functioning, strengths and needs.
• Monitor compliance with court orders and provide supervision plans.
• Advocate for services and coordinate community supports.
• Maintain JJMS data and prepare reports for meetings.
