Job summary

Cardinal Staffing is seeking entry-level yard workers to join our outdoor team in Belleville, MI for a four-day workweek. Pay starts at $16.00 to $16.50 per hour, with first and second shift options from 5:00 AM–3:00 PM and 3:00 PM–1:00 AM, Monday through Thursday.

You will sort and clean scrap metal, operate forklift if experienced, maintain a safe work area, and assist with routine equipment maintenance. A HS diploma or GED and 1–2 years of general labor experience are required; the role

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years of general labor experience.
• Ability to work up to 12‑hour shifts with overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attendance and reliable work history.

Responsibilities

• Sort and clean scrap metal parts on conveyors in an outdoor facility.
• Perform routine maintenance on facility equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Operate a forklift if experienced.
• Shovel scrap into bins for processing.

Cardinal Staffing is looking for Entry level yard workers to work outdoors at our customer in Belleville, MI for a 4 day work week! Pay is $16-$16.50 per hour

Shift Details: Flex Shift – Must be open to working BOTH 1st and 2nd shifts 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday–Thursday 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM, Monday–Thursday

Essential Functions

• Work in an enclosed outdoor facility sorting and cleaning scrap metal parts on conveyor belts
• Perform routine maintenance on facility equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Operate a forklift (if experienced)
• Shovel scrap into various bins for processing
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1–2 years of general labor experience
