Amazon in Nashville, TN is hiring an entry-level Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to support the Global Safety Program at a fulfillment center. You will receive extensive safety training and help implement data-driven safety initiatives that protect employees and keep operations moving.

This on-site role involves audits, incident investigations, risk assessments, and safety training. You will collaborate with Area Managers, Associates, and safety teams to drive behavioral changes and ensure

Formación

• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• Degree in a health and safety-related subject preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinating and implementing all aspects of Amazon's Global Safety Program.
• Identifying and informing management of compliance issues, safety risks, and improvement opportunities through daily, weekly, and monthly audits.
• Facilitating incident investigations processes
• Maintaining required paperwork to comply with Amazon and OSHA regulations.
• Conducting risk assessments related to jobs performed (Job Hazard Analysis).
• Recording safety incident information in internal databases in a timely manner.
• Innovating on process improvements and managing actions to completion.
• Training and assisting team members to complete safety tasks.
• Performing specific safety training as required by the Safety Manager.
• Providing additional oversight for fire prevention, hazardous waste management, and other safety related activities.
• Recommending appropriate risk mitigation measures to management, including ergonomics.
