Job summary

Woods Utility in Springville, UT is seeking an entry-level Wood Utility worker to support the woodshop. The role involves wood prep, sanding, measuring, cutting, glueing and assembling customer orders with a focus on accuracy and meeting production goals.

The ideal candidate has basic woodworking knowledge, the ability to learn various tools, and a history of reliable, long-term employment. Full-time hours, Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of woodworking processes and principles.
• Ability to learn and safely operate woodworking equipment (cabinetry or construction experience a plus).
• Experience running woodworking machinery a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and other shop drawings a plus.
• Sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines and production goals.

Responsibilities

• Wood prep, sanding, measuring, cutting, glueing and assembling customer orders.
• Follow instructions and maintain accuracy to customer specifications.
• Learn and operate woodworking tools and machinery as needed.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in the woodshop.
