Job summary

Bern's Steak House is seeking entry level wine cellar associates to clean, organize, sort and maintain the warehouse and wine cellar with care and accuracy in a busy environment. Experience is not required.

Position is PM shift (4pm-midnight) with opportunities to learn from a team of sommeliers in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Nights, weekends and holidays are required, with strong emphasis on safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail.
• Must be able to lift 25+ pounds.
• Follow sanitation policies and cleanliness.
• Must work well with others and communicate.
• Must work quickly in a safe and effective manner.
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume restaurant setting.

Responsibilities

• PM Shift 4pm-midnight.
• Give tours of our wine cellar, locate bottles, polish glasses, and help keep cellar and warehouse organized, clean and safe.
• Restock wines from inventory from a nearby warehouse location; ladders are often required.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Maintain a clean work station throughout entire shift.
