Job summary

Nordex Group is seeking a Service Technician I to support safe and efficient operation of wind turbine generators. You will perform routine maintenance, assist with troubleshooting, and manage service tickets on-site at wind farms to ensure high availability and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, up to 2 years in wind energy or related fields, and comfort working at heights and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical, wind energy, or engineering education preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in wind energy, industrial maintenance, mechanical, electrical, construction, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine wind turbine maintenance and basic repairs following established procedures.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues under guidance of experienced technicians.
• Complete maintenance reports, track work activities, and manage service tickets.
• Support inventory and material management, including receiving, organizing, and tracking parts and tools.
• Prepare tools, materials, and documentation needed for scheduled work.
• Follow all safety procedures, including PPE inspections and incident reporting.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and turbine performance.
• Work closely with team members and support additional site operations as needed.
