Pace Analytical Services in Agawam, MA is seeking a Scientist for our Wet Chemistry department to perform hands-on environmental testing and ensure data integrity in our lab.

You will analyze environmental samples using established chemistry methods, document results, and calibrate instruments while working a Monday–Friday schedule from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. A BS in Chemistry or related field is required with training provided.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or STEM fields; or an equivalent combination of education and training.
• Training provided to support role.
• Ability to work in a laboratory and operate PPE.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze environmental samples using established chemistry methods, looking for contaminants.
• Review and interpret results from the sample analysis.
• Document procedures, observations and results for high-quality records.
• Clean, maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
