Job summary

A leading technology company is seeking a Manufacturing Welder in Ville Platte, Louisiana. The role requires responsibility for weld preparation, welding, and finishing operations to manufacture products according to specifications. Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in a related field required.
• Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Weld components in flat, vertical, horizontal or overhead positions.
• Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend and grind component parts.
• Detect faulty operation of equipment and materials.
• Examine work for defects.
• Operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade.
• Drive continuous improvement using the Manufacturing System.

Education

One-year certificate from technical school/college (preferred)
