Master Machine is seeking an entry‑level Welder I to support nuclear, defense, and critical infrastructure programs. Under close supervision, you will prepare materials, follow travelers, and execute standard joints while building safety habits and print-reading skills.

You will grow within welding by learning setup, self‑checks, and documentation, while embracing a culture that emphasizes customer success and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret basic blueprints and weld symbols.
• Complete OSHA safety onboarding (PPE, LOTO, HazCom).
• Hands-on MIG/Stick or TIG welding training or experience.
• Pass Master Machine’s internal weld skills assessment.
• Maintain safe work practices and consistent attendance.
• Follow travelers, sign-offs, and documentation with guidance.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic welds on assigned parts under close supervision.
• Follow travelers and print exactly as written.
• Prepare materials, fixtures, and setup for welding.
• Maintain quality with self-checks and sign-off only after correct work.
• Develop blueprint reading, process discipline, and craftsmanship.
• Commit to safety, housekeeping, and shift readiness.
