Aerotek in York, PA is seeking a Welder for a permanent onsite role in a clean, well-lit facility. Two shifts are available: 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM and 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM, with equal emphasis on orbital and laser welding of stainless steel pipe.

Candidates should have foundational welding knowledge, the ability to operate orbital welding equipment, strong attention to detail, and willingness to pursue additional certifications and training. The job offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Job description

Job Title: Welder

Essential Skills

• Foundational understanding of welding processes, including how to achieve uniform and consistent welds.

• Ability to operate or learn to operate orbital welding equipment for stainless steel pipe.

• Strong attention to detail to ensure precise cuts, proper fit-up, and visually uniform welds.

• Capability to follow detailed instructions, work orders, and standard operating procedures.

• Comfort working with stainless steel pipe and related fittings in a production environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Exposure to TIG welding, especially on stainless steel pipe, is a major plus.

• Experience working with automated or semi-automated welding equipment is beneficial.

• Prior experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment is an advantage.

• Willingness to pursue additional certifications and training supported by the employer.

Work Environment

You will work in a clean, well-lit facility with approximately 2025 people, each focused on different phases of building cooling pipe systems for data centers. There are two shifts available: 1st shift runs from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, and 2nd shift runs from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM, with two openings on each shift. The environment includes the use of orbital and laser welding equipment and is structured to support safe, efficient, and precise fabrication work.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
