Job summary

Worthington Enterprises is hiring Entry Level Welders to safely manufacture quality parts on a fast-paced assembly line in Jefferson. Shifts include 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) and 3rd shift (11pm-7am) with weekend coverage as noted.

You will perform welding, testing, and line operations while following detailed production instructions. The role emphasizes attention to safety, accuracy in handling parts, and the ability to read work orders.

• Entry Level Welders are expected to safely manufacture quality parts on a fast-paced assembly line.
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions and safety procedures.
• Familiarity with part numbers, sizes, and quality detection is beneficial.

• Perform assembly, testing, material handling, welding, press room operation, and paint line operation.
• Follow detailed production instructions to manufacture quality parts safely.
• Detect and address defects and quality issues; count, label, and handle small parts.

Here in Jefferson, we produce cylinders used in heating systems, refrigerant recovery, and fire suppression. Sounds cool, right?

• Competitive Pay: We pay for experience, but minimum starting pay is $20.50 to $23.50 with shift differential included.

• Forklift and crane licenses are a plus.
• Basic English proficiency is required to read safety instructions, understand work orders, and communicate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.
