Job summary

Worthington Enterprises in Jefferson Township, OH is hiring Entry Level Welders for 2nd (3pm-11pm) and 3rd (11pm-7am) shifts. You’ll safely manufacture quality parts on a fast-paced assembly line, following detailed production instructions and ensuring safety standards are met.

We offer competitive starting pay of $20.50 to $23.50 per hour with shift differential, a $1,500 sign-on bonus plus $1,000 after year one, overtime at time-and-a-half, quarterly profit sharing, day-one benefits, and

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physical, repetitive tasks and stand for long periods.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Basic math and reading comprehension for safety instructions.
• Ability to read and follow detailed instructions in English.
• Familiarity with part numbers, sizes, and quality detection.
• Forklift and crane licenses are a plus.
• Strong safety mindset and willingness to work on a fast-paced line.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, testing, material handling, welding, press room operation, and paint line operation.
• Follow detailed production instructions to manufacture quality parts safely.
• Detect and address defects and quality issues; count/label small parts.
• Maintain safety standards by following all policies and procedures.

Ready to make an impact at Worthington Enterprises? Join our team! We are hiring for Welders on 2nd (3pm-11pm Monday through Friday) and 3rd (11pm-7am Sunday through Thursday) shifts. Here in Jefferson, we produce cylinders used in heating systems, refrigerant recovery, and fire suppression. Sounds cool, right?

In this role, Entry Level Welders are responsible for safely manufacturing quality parts on a fast-paced assembly line.
