Job summary

Worthington Enterprises is hiring entry-level welders to join our Jefferson, KY production team. Shift options include 2nd (3pm-11pm) and 3rd (11pm-7am) with Monday–Friday schedules.

You will safely manufacture quality parts on a fast-paced assembly line and contribute to our growing cylinder production for heating, refrigerant recovery, and fire suppression systems. We offer competitive starting pay of $19/hour plus a $1.50/hour night-shift differential, sign-on bonuses, overtime pay, profit

Qualifications

• Ability to handle physical, repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to read and follow detailed instructions.
• Familiarity with part numbers, sizes, and quality detection.
• Forklift and crane licenses are a plus.
• Basic English proficiency is required to read safety instructions, understand work orders, and communicate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, testing, material handling, welding, press room operation, and paint line operation.
• Follow detailed production instructions to manufacture quality parts safely.
• Detect and address defects and quality issues; count, label, and handle small parts.
• Maintain safety standards by following all policies and procedures.

We are hiring for Entry level Welders on 2 nd (3pm-11pm Monday through Friday) and 3 rd (11pm-7am Sunday through Thursday) shifts. Here in Jefferson, we produce cylinders used in heating systems, refrigerant recovery, and fire suppression. Sounds cool, right?

In this role, Entry Level Welders are responsible for safely manufacturing quality parts on a fast-paced assembly line.

Job Responsibilities

What We Offer

• Competitive Pay: We pay for experience, but minimum starting pay is $19/hour, plus a $1.50/hour night shift differential.
• Sign-On Bonus: We offer a $1,500 sign-on bonus for new employees, and another $1,000 bonus after your first year.
• Overtime Pay: Time-and-a-half for hours over 40/week and double-time for hours over 48/week.
