Job summary

Proksi Systems is hiring an entry-level Junior Web Application Developer / System Administrator for the Navy's AEGIS program. The role is on-site in Moorestown, NJ, with a Secret clearance required.

You will support design, development, deployment, and maintenance of web apps, collaborating with senior developers and providing user support. Ideal candidates have a CS-related degree, solid HTML/CSS/JS, SQL basics, strong communication skills, and familiarity with DoD IAT II requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, information systems, or related field.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Compliance with DoD Directive 8570.01‑M IAT II requirements (e.g., CCNA, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP).

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, development, and deployment of web applications supporting Navy AEGIS operations.
• Collaborate with senior developers to implement new features and enhancements.
• Respond to user support requests, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely solutions.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications by resolving bugs and implementing user requests.
• Participate in feature demos, gather feedback for continuous improvement.
• Write clean, maintainable code following established standards.
• Support testing, performance tuning, and system optimization tasks.
• Communicate clearly with users, teammates, and stakeholders.
• Monitor web app performance and assist with deployments.
• Provide technical support to end-users and manage user accounts.
