Job summary

Forge is seeking a Weatherization Laborer to join our insulation and weatherization team in Eastern Massachusetts. This is an entry-level, hands-on role in attics, basements, crawl spaces, and outdoors, supporting residential insulation and energy-efficiency projects through Mass Save.

Qualifications

• No prior weatherization experience required, but you must be hard-working and reliable.
• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, basements, crawl spaces, and outdoors.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced installers with residential insulation and weatherization projects
• Help install weatherization insulation materials
• Assist with air sealing, ventilation, and other energy-efficiency improvements
• Load, unload, and organize tools, materials, and equipment
• Prepare and clean job sites before and after each project
• Operate hand and power tools safely
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
• Keep trucks, tools, and equipment clean and organized
• Work closely with Crew Chiefs and other crew members to complete projects efficiently
• Represent Forge professionally when interacting with homeowners
