Easton Utilities is seeking an Apprentice Operator I to perform operation and maintenance tasks across water and wastewater facilities in Easton, MD. This entry-level role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and learning essential certifications within the first months.

The full-time, non-exempt position reports to the Superintendent of Water & Wastewater Facilities, with on-call requirements. A high school diploma and basic computer skills are required, along with the ability to obtain specific

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least two years’ business experience.
• Ability to obtain OIT W3 within one month.
• Ability to obtain Wastewater Collection System Operator, Class 5A within one month.

Responsabilidades

• Perform operation and maintenance tasks at water supply, storage and treatment facilities and wastewater systems.
• Operate and troubleshoot plant equipment, pumps, motors, and SCADA systems.
• Enter data into spreadsheets and generate reports for supervisor review.
• Maintain safety standards and work in confined spaces and at heights as required.
