Job summary

Jacobs Solutions Inc. seeks an Entry Level Civil Engineer focusing on water and wastewater to help plan, design and deliver critical water infrastructure projects.

You’ll collaborate with owners, engineers, operators and other stakeholders from early development through construction, applying Integrated Design and Delivery principles to optimize reliability, cost, and schedule. The role requires a Civil/Environmental/Mechanical degree, EIT, and a willingness to obtain PE in time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or related Engineering.
• EIT certification required; PE license preferred or ability to obtain.
• Interest or experience in water and wastewater systems.
• Familiarity with collaborative delivery methods (IPD/Design-Build) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater projects.
• Support development of treatment facilities, pump stations, pipelines, and conveyance systems.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and delivery strategy implementation.
• Prepare engineering studies, calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Contribute to value engineering, constructability reviews, and regulatory support.
