Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work safely around water system infrastructure and equipment.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in indoor and outdoor environments.
• Willingness to learn and participate in on-call rotations and emergencies.
• Basic knowledge of water distribution or water production systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and perform minor repairs on water production and distribution systems.
• Read and record water meter readings accurately.
• Assist with installing and repairing water mains, service lines, hydrants, and valves.
• Follow safety policies and procedures and maintain logs.
• Prepare and support routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and equipment lubrication.
