Power Dry, serving the greater Kansas City area, is seeking a Water Restoration Technician to respond to water events in homes and businesses. The role involves removing water, setting up professional drying equipment, and preventing further damage.

No restoration experience is required; paid training is provided to capable labor candidates. This full-time position offers overtime and weekend coverage as needed, with a competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience in a hands-on or labor-intensive role preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physical duties and operate hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform water extraction, mitigation, and structural drying.
• Set up, monitor, and remove professional drying equipment.
• Demolish and remove water-damaged materials when necessary.
• Use hand tools, power tools and restoration equipment.
• Move equipment and materials around job sites.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
• Communicate professionally with customers.
• Collaborate with technicians and managers to complete projects.
• Follow company procedures and safety guidelines.
• Deliver exceptional service during stressful times for customers.
