SWCA Environmental Consultants seeks an Assistant Staff Water Resources Engineer with an interest in hydrology, hydraulics, flood modeling, and water resources engineering. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Biological, Civil, Environmental, or Coastal)
• Experience or willingness to learn hydrology/hydraulic modeling tools
• Summer internship or co-op experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Support development of designs for water resources projects with senior engineers.
• Perform field investigations and verify compliance with plans and regulations.
• Prepare technical reports summarizing inspections, analyses and fieldwork.
• Assist in permitting and regulatory documentation; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Conduct construction oversight to monitor contractor performance and adherence to specs.
• Contribute to site evaluations to assess viability and methods.
• Prepare construction drawings and specifications reflecting project designs.
