You will contribute to planning, design, and construction administration for municipal water and wastewater projects, collaborating with engineers, EITs, and CAD professionals. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited) and has limited practical experience with engineering software and design tools; start date January to June 2027.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 4-year ABET-accredited engineering degree or equivalent/advanced degree.
• Some exposure to engineering software and automated design tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepares plan details, quantities, cost estimates and calculations for project segments.
• Assists in preparation of technical specifications.
• Evaluates vendor bids and drawings for specification compliance.
• Reviews and approves design drawings within defined limits.
• Prepares technical reports or sections of larger reports.
• Performs field tests and collects field data as needed.
• Supports proposal team or proposal manager.

Education

Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or related

4-year engineering degree from an ABET accredited program (or equivalent working knowledge/experience or Masters degree in Engineering)
