Job summary

CDM Smith in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an entry-level Environmental, Water Resources, or Civil Engineer to join our Water Services Group. You will help design and implement water and wastewater facilities, sewer systems, pipelines, and related infrastructure under supervision.

You’ll gain hands-on experience across site assessments, parameter adjustments, water quality analyses, modeling, and reporting, plus opportunities to contribute to client meetings and presentations using ArcGIS, HEC-RAS,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• 1 year of related experience. Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and implementation of water and wastewater treatment facilities, sewer systems, pipelines, and associated infrastructure.
• Operate under supervision to ensure designs meet client specifications and regulatory standards.
• Conduct site assessments and adjust design parameters as needed.
• Perform water quality analyses and modeling; contribute to technical reports and client presentations.
• Create documents and presentations using ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, CADD, and Excel; assist fieldwork.
