Job summary

Arcadis in Los Angeles is seeking an Entry-Level Water Engineer to support the planning, design, and execution of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, contributing to technical delivery and client-focused solutions.

You will perform planning studies, assist with reports and permitting, and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes while growing your professional skills through Arcadis onboarding and development programs.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering is required or strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with ArcGIS and/or hydraulic modeling software is ideal but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform planning studies, design, and field investigations for water and wastewater systems, including collection, transmission, distribution, pumping, and treatment facilities.
• Support sustainability and resilience projects, including vulnerability and mitigation assessments and planning for utilities, municipalities, and cities.
• Prepare technical reports, Preliminary Design Reports, evaluation memoranda, spreadsheets, and permitting applications.
• Develop written communications and engaging presentations for internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Assist utilities, municipalities, and cities with planning and design solutions to meet infrastructure needs.
• Contribute to project coordination and technical analysis to support project execution.
