Halperns' Steak & Seafood in Fort Lauderdale, FL is hiring a Receiver (Forklift Operator) to join our warehouse team. Qualifications

• Must read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Employees must perceive auditory warning signals in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to operate powered industrial vehicle (PIV).

Responsibilities

• Receives, logs and issues materials to stockroom or designated area.
• Checks goods against bills of lading or purchase orders.
• Checks goods for damage and expiration dates.
• Identify histamine seafood products and ensure proper storage.
• Perform returns and rotate coolers/freezers as needed.
• Maintain inventory control and required clerical records.
