Job summary

RK Logistics Group in Michigan is seeking a Material Handler to process parts through warehouse operations and the WMS. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, move material, and ensure accurate receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping activities.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, safety, and teamwork as you support inbound and outbound flows, perform cycle counts, and maintain clean, organized loading areas in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0-2 years’ Warehouse and Logistics experience.
• 1- 2 years’ forklift experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn LEAN principles, including 5S and 7S methodologies; training provided.
• Strong communication skills and math aptitude.
• Basic computer skills with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Prior experience with Inventory control preferred.
• Excellent time management.

Responsibilities

• Use hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move material or freight in the warehouse-storage facility.
• Unload inbound products and load outbound shipments.
• Weigh products and take measurements (DIMS).
• Receive, unpack, verify product to ensure accuracy.
• Use handheld RF tools to receive, pick, stock check, and ship products into WMS.
• Conduct stock checks, cycle counts, and support physical inventory.
• Pack, wrap, and label products for shipping and storage.
• Stage completed orders or shipments in staging area.
