Job summary

Phoenix Contact is seeking an entry-level Distribution Center Worker I to support daily DC operations. You will execute assigned tasks accurately while maintaining safety and quality. The role involves receiving, packing, shipping, and using a warehouse management system.

As part of an onsite team, you will lift up to 70 lbs, stand for long periods, and work flexible hours including weekends when needed. Training is provided and safety is a priority.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn WMS.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform general distribution center tasks.
• Assist with unloading and loading trucks.
• Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to process incoming and outgoing goods.
• Inspect incoming products for quantity and part number accuracy.
• Distribute products to designated storage areas (ASRS, conventional).
• Follow WMS instructions at workstations to complete tasks.
• Pick and pack customer orders with attention to detail.
• Prepare shipments according to WMS directions and shipping guidelines.
• Operate hand trucks and other equipment (training provided).
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
