Job summary

Ferguson is seeking an entry level Warehouse Associate to join our team in Charleston, SC. This onsite role runs Monday to Friday from 11AM to 7PM, with starting pay at $20/hour and potential for increases.

Responsibilities include safely operating a stand-up forklift to pick orders, building and transporting pallets, using RF devices, receiving and stocking materials, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management is preferred.
• High attention to detail.
• Comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment.
• Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic.
• Self-starter with ability to learn our systems quickly.
• Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs regularly.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Pre-employment drug and background screening required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stand‑up forklift to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
• Use RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Receive, verify, stage and stock incoming material.
• Keep workspace clean, safe, and accident-free.
• Adhere to safety regulations and wear PPE, including harness up to 400 lbs.
