Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a Production Specialist to perform wafer fabrication in a clean room, following written specifications and safety guidelines. The role supports manufacturing operations with accurate data entry and adherence to procedures.

The position is onsite, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with no remote option. 0–2 years in wafer fab or manufacturing is preferred, and candidates should be capable of learning tasks under supervision and collaborating with coworkers.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in wafer fab or manufacturing environment
• Ability to work with close supervision and instruction
• Willingness and aptitude to learn job tasks and procedures
• Highly motivated and able to work well with coworkers
• Ability to communicate well both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Operate standard wafer fabrication (fab) equipment per procedures and safety guidelines
• Maintain adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations
• Accurately record and enter operational data in logs or digital systems
• Assist with other duties to support manufacturing operations
