Job summary

Furnitureland South, the World's Largest Furniture Store, seeks an enthusiastic, entry-level visual merchandiser to enhance the presentation of furniture and décor in our retail gallery. You will work closely with supervisors to open, tag, and stage accessory products, and support designers with gallery displays.

This onsite role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years merchandising experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1–3 years merchandising experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with supervisor on tasks to be accomplished daily.
• Open, tag, and organize all accessory product on the retail receiving docks.
• Maintain organization of staging areas and assist in movement of product to retail gallery floors.
• Communicate with distribution center, inventory, and data management teams to ensure all product is received in and tagged properly for the retail gallery floors.
• Conduct walk-through audits of assigned areas and ensure these areas are meeting presentation standards.
• Assist Designers with the execution of design plans for galleries.
• Assist with various visual merchandising tasks, including gathering and placing accessories, steaming linens, and hanging artwork 25 lbs or less.
• Assist in the management of inventory by scanning all product to proper locations.
• Ongoing Saturday work required.
• Assist manager or delegate in special projects and tasks as assigned.
• Lift, carry and/or push furniture up to 25 lbs, safely and without damage.
