New England Controls Inc is seeking an Entry-Level Valve Technician to join our team and support valve repair and field service work in both shop and customer-site environments. You will work alongside experienced technicians to inspect, disassemble, repair, assemble, calibrate, and test safety relief valves, isolation valves, actuators, and related equipment.

This is a field service role with significant travel throughout New England, including overnight travel for multiple weeks per year.

Formación

• Mechanical associate degree or equivalent hands-on experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to travel extensively throughout New England.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Interest in field service, valve repair, or industrial/mechanical equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and basic computer skills, including Microsoft 365.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and off-hours as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in physically demanding shop and field environments.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with inspection, teardown, cleaning, repair, assembly, calibration, and testing of valves and actuators.
• Support field service jobs and help ensure work is completed safely and correctly.
• Learn how to diagnose equipment issues and document repair findings.
• Complete service documentation, photos, and work order records accurately and in real time.
• Help maintain tools, equipment, trucks, trailers, and shop readiness.
• Support shipping, receiving, inventory, and general shop operations.
• Maintain strong housekeeping, 5S, and safety standards.
