Job summary

Stake Center Locating is hiring entry level Locate Technicians to locate underground utilities, troubleshoot and mark the ground using paint and flags to prevent damage in the community. We will train you on the job and equip you with the basic skills to be successful in our 100 paid training program.

We provide late model vehicles with a fuel card to ease daily commute costs. You can take the vehicle home for company use.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• We will train entry level Locating Technicians to Think Safety First.
• Read maps, interpret blueprints and determine the best method and sequence for locating.
• Use provided locate equipment and technology to accurately locate underground utilities.
• Communicate effectively with peers, managers and homeowners.
