Job summary

Ansco & Associates, LLC is seeking an Entry-Level Locator to mark underground utilities with flags and paint, ensuring safe and efficient project execution. You’ll operate detection equipment, read utility maps, document locates, and respond to excavation notices, working with excavators and company staff in all weather.

This role emphasizes safety, hands-on training, and overtime/travel as needed. A valid driver's license and a HS diploma are required, with 18+ years of age and US work

Qualifications

18 years or older
Authorized to work in the United States for this company
High School Diploma, GED, or relevant work experience

Responsibilities

Operate detection equipment to locate and mark utilities.
Read maps to correctly identify underground utilities.
Document all locates and respond to excavation notices.
Communicate with excavators, utility reps and staff.
Dig lightly with a shovel when needed.
Work overtime, travel and be on call as required.
Perform in all weather conditions.
