APAC Central Inc., a CRH Company, is seeking an entry-level Truck Service Technician to help keep our fleet safe and reliable in a safety-focused shop environment. You will perform preventive maintenance on trucks and equipment, inspect for leaks and wear, and assist with repairs as you learn.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Valid driver's license; eligibility for fleet safety program.
• Willing to travel to job sites and work outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on trucks, trailers, loaders, and other equipment.
• Inspect machinery for leaks, wear, and issues; report findings to shop lead.
• After training, conduct certified brake inspections, including air brakes, within six months.
• Document maintenance activities and inventory using a computer.
• Maintain weekly inventory of filters, oils, and supplies.
• Assist with minor mechanical repairs and learn proper techniques.
• Operate wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, and other shop tools.
• Travel to job sites as required; meet fleet safety qualifications.
• Possess or obtain a Commercial Driver's License and pass DOT exams as required.
