Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking a Grounds Person Tree Care I to support tree trimming and removal operations and assist with ground-level tasks. No prior experience required; the role is entry-level and outdoor, with focus on safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities include basic pruning support, PPE usage, and operating simple equipment under supervision. Candidates should be physically able to lift and work outdoors in varied weather, with a valid driver’s license for fleet duties.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position with no prior experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Age: at least 18 (21 if operating company vehicles).
• Valid driver’s license for fleet vehicle operators.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic ground-level tree care operations in support of pruning, removal, and maintenance activities.
• Demonstrate introductory level proficiency in the safe operation of powered equipment (woodchippers, trucks, blowers).
• Use hand tools such as hand saws, pruners, rakes, and shovels safely to complete tasks.
• Select and use appropriate PPE per safety standards and company protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and manage traffic and safety around the work zone.
