Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking a Transportation Engineer I to join our team in Scott Depot, WV (near Charleston). You will assist in producing design calculations, technical reports, plans, and specifications for diverse infrastructure projects while collaborating with project teams to deliver quality outcomes.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, with preferred candidates holding a Master's in Engineering and an EIT certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite; MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
• Master's degree and EIT certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work within the schedule and hours provided.
• Supports preparation of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
• Assists in preparing project quantity and cost estimates.
• Assists engineering teams with organization and administrative support of design files.
• Supports engineering teams with various tasks including data collection and field investigations.
